Ecuadorian filmmaker Juan Sebastián Jácome studied screenwriting in UCLA, holds a Film Production BFA degree from the Florida State University Film School, and complemented his directing studies with Judith Weston.
In 2007, his short films and feature screenplays received numerous awards from different festivals worldwide. A year later, he was credited as producer in the Singaporean feature film "Carrot Cake Conversations" and was one of 16 Latin American filmmakers selected to receive a complete fellowship for the Screenwriting Lab organized by Fundación Carolina and Ibermedia in Spain.
Currently, he works in the development of ESAS FLORES and RUTA DE LA LUNA. In both feature films, he participates as writer and director. |
